How to book an appointment?
You can make an appointment by text or phone on 07889278684, send a message on Physioteka Facebook page or via chat on our website. Please be patient, I will answer as soon as I am available.
How long is the appointment?
It depends on the treatment I will be doing: 15-20 mins kinesiotaping, 45-60 mins Consultation, back/neck & shoulder massage, manual therapy 90 mins full body massage.
Do I have to bring any MMR, MRI, X-ray results with me?
No, you don’t have to but if you will bring them, they will help me assess you and plan your treatment ahead.
How many treatments do I have to get to recover?
The recovery process takes time and it depends on your injury and overall health condition. Some patients are feeling relief after the first visit, others need more of them. There are people that prefer to see me regularly.
What should I wear for my appointment?
You should feel comfortable during the treatment. To make my job a little bit easier, you can wear sportswear or comfortable underwear.
Where is Physioteka located?
My office is Beautan, Room 10, Kittybrewster- 3 Back Hilton Road, AB25 3SS Aberdeen.
When I can start feeling the results of the treatment?
The effect should be seen after or even during the first visit. Although it might happen that for the next day or two after the treatment, your wellbeing might be worse. This is the natural reaction of your body and you should not worry about it.
Can I park my car outside Physioteka?
Of course. You can park your car on free car park behind the building.
What should I do, if I won’t be able to come for my treatment?
If you know that you will not come to see me for some reason and you have already booked a slot, please let me know as soon as possible (up to 24hrs before the visit). I usually have a back-up list.
Can I turn up earlier for my appointment?
I would prefer you will arrive on time as I might have another patient inside.
What is going to happen, if I can’t come in for my treatment but it’s less than 24 hours?
Let me know that you won’t make it. If you cancel the appointment for less than 24 hours before, you will have to pay 50% of the treatment’s price.
What is going to happen, if I can’t come in for my treatment but it’s less than 3 hours?
If you cancel your appointment for less than 3 hours before, you will have to pay 100% of the treatment's price.
What happens if I won’t turn up for my appointment and won’t contact Physioteka to cancel or re-schedule my visit?
Everyone, who booked an appointment and never show up is no longer able to use any of the treatments offered in Physioteka and also their name appears on Black List. If you would like to use any of the treatments again, you will be asked to pay for the appointment you have missed. Please be reminded that you will be charged for any missed appointments. It is your responsibility to remember your appointment date and time.
